Drone mapping is an excellent tool available to surveyors, achieves full geometric documentation before starting a project, while their use serves many other disciplines, such as agriculture, archeology, geology, journalism, etc. The drones carry a camera with which the data is collected.
Especially for topographic projects, they produce a series of successive high-definition aerial photographs with an appropriate percentage of overlap, creating thousands of precise data points, including georeferences, lifting points, and colors. This methodology allows us to create accurate two-dimensional surveying and three-dimensional models.
ERATOSTHENES has two (2) Drones and two (2) certified UAS operators and undertakes projects throughout Greece.
